Public opposition is growing against the Ghazipur waste processing plant project in East Delhi, with residents and local representatives continuing to demand its cancellation due to environmental and health concerns.
Aam Aadmi Party MLA Kuldeep Kumar said that the agitation against the Ghazipur waste processing plant is ongoing and will continue until the project is withdrawn. He stated that people from multiple nearby areas are actively participating in the movement.

A significant number of residents from Ghazipur Paper Market, Mayur Vihar Phase-3, Kondli, Sapera Basti, Mulla Colony, Rajveer Colony, and surrounding areas joined the protest against the Ghazipur waste processing plant. Citizens raised concerns over pollution, health risks, and environmental damage.
The protest gathering saw strong opposition, with participants demanding that the Ghazipur waste processing plant project be immediately scrapped to protect the local environment and public health.

Addressing the gathering, MLA Kuldeep Kumar stated that the struggle against the Ghazipur waste processing plant will continue. He emphasized that the voices of residents cannot be ignored and criticized the authorities for proceeding with what he described as a “publicly opposed project.”
