Rohini, In a major anti-crime push, Delhi Police step up actions against gang violence to restore peace in the National Capital Region.

Delhi, New Delhi: Delhi Police and members of the infamous Gogi gang engaged in a violent altercation in the Budh Vihar neighborhood of Rohini. Three gang members were captured by police during the gunfight, while two more were wounded by gunfire. Armed and deadly, the criminals were driving when the altercation started.

Arrested and injured

Of the people apprehended, two, Irfan and Lalu, were shot and treated, and the third, Nitesh, was arrested without any injuries. During the operation, the police found the gang members’ vehicle and firearms.

The fight against organized crime

Delhi Police are stepping up their attempts to break up criminal networks and establish peace and order in the National Capital Region as part of a larger crackdown on gang violence. The Gogi gang is notorious for engaging in a variety of illegal acts, such as intimidation and extortion.

Aaghaat, Delhi Police’s Operation

Under the name “Operation Aaghaat,” Delhi Police conducted a significant operation that led to the arrest of over fifty criminals. The cops found 13 firearms and a large amount of drugs during coordinated operations. Targeting organized crime networks and maintaining public safety, the crackdown was a component of Delhi Police’s continuous efforts to fight crime and drug trafficking in the city.
