Drug Trade in Delhi Thrives Under BJP Government, AAP Raises Concerns

AAP Warns of Unchecked Drug Trade and Illegal Liquor Sales in Delhi, Criticizing BJP Government for Failure in Law Enforcement

Delhi is witnessing a surge in illegal drug and liquor trade, with reports suggesting that the drug mafia is thriving openly under the current BJP government. According to AAP leaders, this unchecked growth has reached alarming levels, particularly on major city roads where illicit liquor is being sold freely.

During a recent statement, AAP representatives highlighted that the situation reflects a severe lapse in governance. “Under the BJP regime, the drug mafia’s confidence has skyrocketed. Illegal narcotics are being sold publicly, and law enforcement is either powerless or hindered from taking strict action,” the leaders said.

Alleged Political Interference Hindering Action Against Drug Mafias in Delhi

The issue gained further attention after a Delhi Police SHO revealed that arrests of drug offenders often face interference from higher authorities. According to the SHO, phone calls from influential sources reportedly prevent police from taking action against drug mafias, allowing illegal trade to continue unabated.

AAP criticized the Delhi government for neglecting public safety and failing to curb the rising menace of drugs and illegal liquor. Party officials stressed that this not only threatens the health and safety of citizens but also erodes trust in law enforcement and governance.

“The BJP government must act immediately to dismantle the drug mafia network, enforce strict checks, and ensure that the rule of law prevails. Citizens cannot continue to suffer while criminals operate with impunity,” AAP leaders warned.

With drug and liquor crimes flourishing openly, Delhi residents are calling for urgent government action to restore law, order, and safety in the city.
