AAP hits back at Delhi LG Vinai Kumar Saxena with “Gajni” poster after he blamed Kejriwal for Delhi’s pollution and infrastructure issues.

A day after the LG wrote a lengthy letter to former Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal accusing him of negligence, pollution, and infrastructure deficiencies, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) released a poster attack on Delhi Lieutenant Governor Vinai Kumar Saxena, referring to him as “Delhi ka Gajni.” Delhi’s air quality improved somewhat but was still classified as “poor” at the time of the exchange.

AAP poster attack on LG

The Aam Aadmi Party posted a banner on its social media account in response to the LG’s most recent letter to Arvind Kejriwal. AAP depicted LG Vinai Kumar Saxena as “Gajni” in the poster, implying that Delhi’s pollution was causing him to lose his memory. The party criticized the LG’s handling of pollution-related issues and refuted his statements using the poster.

LG said there will be more letters.

Delhi Reporters questioned Lieutenant Governor Vinai Kumar Saxena on Thursday about the 15-page letter he wrote to the previous chief minister. He blamed Kejriwal in the letter for poor infrastructure, deteriorating air quality, and governance shortcomings over the previous eleven years.

“More such letters will keep coming,” the LG told reporters. Don’t be concerned.

LG asserts that pollution concerns are disregarded.

LG Saxena claimed in his letter that although he had previously voiced concerns about pollution, the former chief minister had not taken them seriously. The LG claims that Kejriwal minimized the problem in his response.

He cited Kejriwal as stating, “This occurs annually, sir. It is covered by the media for 15 to 20 days. Everyone forgets about it after activists and the courts bring it up. You shouldn’t give it much thought either.
