In a video shared by AAP Delhi, the party highlighted that under the “useless BJP rule,” promises to clean the Yamuna have been largely abandoned. “The BJP, which once boasted about large-scale plans to rejuvenate the river, is now shying away even from mentioning the Yamuna. The inaction is evident, and the consequences are dire,” the statement read.

Environmental activists and local communities have echoed concerns over Yamuna pollution Delhi, emphasizing that untreated sewage, industrial waste, and inefficient water treatment facilities have accelerated the river’s decline.
