CM Nitish Kumar to Review Buxar SEZ Project; District Magistrate Completes Preparations

CM Nitish Kumar will review the ₹109 crore Nawanagar SEZ in Buxar as the district administration completes preparations and inspects key development projects.

Buxar: Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will conduct a review of the Special Economic Zone (SEZ) under development in Nawanagar on Monday. According to official sources, the Chief Minister is expected to conduct an inspection. Buxar District Magistrate Vidya Nand Singh conducted an inspection of the SEZ site on Saturday and reviewed the current progress of preparations. The District Magistrate stated that a proposal has been submitted regarding the Chief Minister’s upcoming visit. The administration has undertaken necessary preparations. A total of 125 acres of land in Biada is under development as a Special Economic Zone (SEZ) at an estimated cost of Rs 109 crore.

Project review

Earlier on Saturday, the District Magistrate initiated two significant development projects within the district. Koilwar Embankment Project and a terrestrial inspection of the Keshopur Multi-Rural Water Supply Scheme were conducted. He requested that the officials guarantee the punctual completion of initiatives while upholding quality standards. On the Koilwar Ganga embankment, he inspected the ongoing blacktopping and protective measures, including soil-filled activities near Keshopur village in Simri block.

Inspection of the Water Supply System

DM inaugurates Keshopur multi-rural water delivery project He also supervised and instructed the Executive Engineer of the Public Health Division to perform a weekly review of water supply in all wards, ensure an uninterrupted water supply, and convene meetings with public representatives every 15 days to gather feedback and address any issues related to the supply. The District Magistrate emphasized that any negligence in maintaining a consistent water supply will not be tolerated. All arrangements for the Chief Minister’s visit have been finalized in Buxar district.
