Bihar CM Nitish Kumar visits Chirag Paswan’s Patna home for Kharna Prasad, participating in Chhath Puja traditions before the 36-hour fast.
Patna: As part of Chhath Puja, Bihar CM Nitish Kumar traveled down to Union Minister Chirag Paswan’s home on Sunday to partake in “kharna prasad,” which is consumed by devotees prior to starting a strenuous 36-hour fast.

Paswan, the leader of the Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas), posted images of the JD(U) leader at his home in Patna, Shri Krishna Puri, on social media.
“I appreciate you visiting my house and participating in Kharna Prasad, honorable Chief Minister. He wrote on X, “My family and I appreciate the well wishes you shared at the meeting.

In the photos, Kumar is pictured alongside Paswan and his immediate family, which includes his mother Reena and brother-in-law Arun Bharti, a LJP(R) MP from Jamui, the Lok Sabha seat the Union minister had served thrice before moving to Hajipur, his father’s pocket borough.
