Mohammad Siraj and Prasidh Krishna deliver a Nail-Bitting win as India level the series 2-2

India pulled off a stunning and dramatic victory over England in the final Test at The Oval, winning by just six runs to level the five-match series 2‑2 and retain the Anderson‑Tendulkar Trophy. On a tense final morning, Mohammed Siraj emerged as the unexpected hero with a fiery five‑wicket haul, including the final breakthrough to bowl out England for 367. Prasidh Krishna’s searing pace throughout the match complemented Siraj’s heroics as he picked up four crucial wickets—together they dismantled England’s tail under pressure.

England had chased strongly after centuries from Joe Root and Harry Brook had taken them to 301 for 3, leaving just 35 runs to win with four wickets in hand. But quick wickets fell, and with injured Chris Woakes bravely batting one‑handed, the match went to the wire. England came within six runs of victory, but Gus Atkinson’s bold strike could not stop Siraj’s final yorker, sealing India’s narrowest-ever Test win

Mohammed Siraj, known affectionately as “DSP,” spoke of his unwavering self-belief in post-match interviews, while KL Rahul admitted the absence of senior players like Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli weighed on the side throughout. Yet, India’s resilience shone through a gripping finale worthy of a classic Test series.
