The senior NCP leader tragically died on Wednesday morning in an aircraft accident near Baramati. Tendulkar joined numerous public figures in extending condolences, calling Pawar a dedicated leader who devotedly served the state.

Accident Details
The fatal crash occurred while Ajit Pawar was en route to Baramati for public meetings ahead of the Zilla Parishad elections. Pawar was aboard a chartered Bombardier Learjet 45, which reportedly faced technical difficulties during the journey.

Officials stated that the aircraft attempted an emergency landing at Baramati Airport. During the second landing attempt, the plane crashed, killing all five people on board.
The victims included Deputy CM Ajit Pawar, two pilots, and two members of his security detail. Eyewitnesses reported that the wreckage was engulfed in flames, with emergency services rushing to the scene.

The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has launched a detailed investigation to determine the exact cause of the technical failure.
