Discover the health benefits of eggs in Delhi. High in protein, vitamins, and healthy fats, eggs boost brain, muscle, and heart health.
New Delhi: For good reason, eggs have been referred to as a “superfood” for a long time. They are among the most complete foods you can consume since they are full of critical vitamins, healthy fats, and high-quality protein.
Each egg has choline, which promotes memory and brain health, as well as vitamins B12, D, and A.
The advantages of eggs
Eggs are special because our bodies can readily absorb their protein, which makes them ideal for building and repairing muscle. If you’re attempting to control your weight, eggs help you feel fuller for longer, which decreases the need for unnecessary snacking. Eye health is also maintained by antioxidants that protect against visual problems, such as lutein and zeaxanthin.
Whether they are boiled, poached, or scrambled, eggs complement any meal. Despite what some people may have previously believed, moderate egg consumption does not raise cholesterol levels in most people. Instead, it helps control the amounts of HDL, or good cholesterol.
In reality, how many eggs can one eat in a day?
According to Dr. Anjali Tiwari, Senior Dietitian at Apollo Spectra Hospital in Kanpur, who was interviewed by India TV, eggs are among the most nutrient-dense foods on the market because they are high in choline, vitamin D, B12, and high-quality protein, but moderation is key. For healthy individuals, it works well, but for many illnesses, it is not advised.

Eating one or two eggs a day is completely harmless and even advantageous for a healthy individual with normal cholesterol. They also promote satiety, brain function, and muscle restoration.
However, it is preferable to limit the number of whole eggs to four or five per week and to supplement them with white eggs if the individual has high LDL cholesterol, diabetes, or heart disease.
A person’s overall diet is also very important because eggs fit in well if they are eating a lot of fruits, veggies, and healthy fats. Although the myth that eggs raise cholesterol has mostly been disproved, balance and cooking techniques like poaching or boiling rather than frying can still have a significant impact.
