Baba Ramdev warns against quick-fix weight-loss injections. He advocates yoga, natural remedies, and fasting for safe and effective results.

Weight Loss Advice: Baba Ramdev Warns Against Shortcuts Because Obesity Is Increasing Due to Fast-Paced Lives

Obesity has become a worldwide issue due to today’s fast-paced lifestyle and harmful habits. Many people are using short cuts like injections and weight-loss tablets in an attempt to reduce weight fast. Yoga guru Baba Ramdev recently expressed his candid opinions on this matter at a gathering in New Delhi and cautioned attendees about the risks associated with synthetic weight-loss medications.

Steer clear of synthetic medications.

Wegovy, Ozempic, and Mounjaro are among the weight-reduction injections and pills that are becoming more and more popular. The manufacturers of these products claim that they lower hunger and aid in rapid weight loss. According to Baba Ramdev, artificial weight loss techniques can have a major negative impact on one’s health, making them exceedingly detrimental to the body. He stressed that Patanjali’s weight-loss medications are made completely of natural substances rather than artificial chemicals when questioned about them.

Emphasis on Natural Approaches

Baba Ramdev asserts that external medications are not necessary for weight loss. He offered straightforward and practical natural advice, including taking bottle gourd (lauki) juice, which aids in fat burning, and drinking lukewarm water first thing in the morning. He also highlighted the need of regular running and yoga, stating that he personally gets up at three in the morning every day to do yoga. Regular morning runs and yoga maintain the body’s inherent fitness.

The Value of Fasting

Baba Ramdev advocated intermittent fasting, stating that the body needs it. To provide the digestive system enough time to relax, he suggested eating only once a day. He also recommended observing silence (maun vrat) and digital fasting. Avoiding phones and the internet for 8 to 10 hours promotes mental calmness, which is important for general health.

The message of Baba Ramdev is very clear: there is no quick fix for excellent health. The true key to long-term health and longevity is to incorporate yoga, a balanced diet, and fasting into daily life rather than chasing medications and injections. He emphasized the need of maintaining a pure and harm-free body and mind.
