I had the honor of meeting with the Honorable Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi ji in New Delhi. We asked him to dedicate two big initiatives that will change things for the people of Assam. The first thing is the new terminal at Guwahati’s LGBI Airport. This cutting-edge project will make Guwahati a major aviation hub and provide the city the ability to handle more than 1.3 crore people. The second is the foundation stone for the ₹10,601 crore brown field Ammonia-Urea complex at Namrup. “This project will ensure a steady supply of important fertilizers for the whole North East,” CM Sarma said on X.
