Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday engaged in a telephonic discussion with his Israeli counterpart, Benjamin Netanyahu, conveying New Year greetings and assessing the advancement of the India–Israel Strategic Partnership. The discussion highlighted the increasing strength of bilateral relations and the mutual dedication of both countries to regional stability and counterterrorism efforts.

Sharing details of the call on X, Modi stated: “It was a pleasure to converse with my esteemed colleague, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and to extend New Year greetings to him and the people of Israel.” We deliberated on strategies to further enhance the India–Israel Strategic Partnership in the upcoming year. We also discussed the regional situation and reaffirmed our mutual commitment to combat terrorism with increased resolve.
