Narendra Modi becomes India’s 2nd longest-serving Prime Minister

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has officially surpassed Indira Gandhi to become India’s second longest serving Prime-Minister. With 4,078 consecutive days in office since May 26, 2014, Modi now trails only Jawaharlal Nehru, who served for 6,130 days
The milestone cements Modi’s place as the longest serving Non- Congress PM in Indian history. Indira Gandhi previous record was of 4,077 days (1966-1977) now stands third.
From economic reforms to landmark decisions like Article 370 abrogation, Ram Mandir, and Digital India, Modi’s 11-year tenure has re-defined Indian politics and governance.
