New Delhi: The Congress top leadership held an important Congress leadership meeting on Thursday, bringing together general secretaries, state in-charges, and PCC chiefs to discuss the party’s future strategy and the prevailing political situation in the country.
During the Congress leadership meeting, party president Mallikarjun Kharge emphasized that the Congress’ responsibility goes beyond political struggle and includes safeguarding India’s Constitution, democracy, and social justice.

Kharge Flags Inflation, Unemployment and Exam Paper Leaks
Addressing concerns during the Congress leadership meeting, Mallikarjun Kharge highlighted major issues such as inflation, unemployment, exam paper leaks, and growing social inequality.
He said that controversies like NEET paper leaks and recruitment exam irregularities have deeply shaken public trust, especially among youth and students.
Rahul Gandhi Raises Youth Concerns
In the Congress meeting, Rahul Gandhi’s engagement with affected students and youth was also mentioned, with leaders asserting that their issues are being strongly represented at the national level.
The leadership reiterated that the Congress will continue to raise voices against systemic failures impacting education and employment.
Opposition Unity and INDIA Bloc Coordination
The Congress meeting also comes amid increasing coordination within the INDIA bloc. Recent meetings between opposition leaders, including Rahul Gandhi and Trinamool Congress representatives, were noted as efforts to strengthen unity.
