LPG Price Hike India: Commercial and Domestic Cylinder Rates Surge Across Major Cities

India sees a fresh LPG Price Hike, with commercial and domestic cylinders becoming costlier, affecting small businesses and household budgets across major cities.

The latest LPG Price Hike India has intensified concerns among businesses and households, as commercial LPG cylinder prices have increased sharply across the country. The hike, driven by global energy supply disruptions amid ongoing geopolitical tensions, has significantly raised fuel costs.

While commercial LPG rates have surged again, domestic cylinder prices remain high following a recent increase earlier this month, adding to the overall burden of the LPG Price Hike India.

Major Increase in Commercial LPG Prices

Under the LPG Price Hike India, the price of the 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder has seen a steep rise. In Delhi, the price has jumped by ₹195.50, reaching ₹2,078.50. This marks the second hike in less than a month, following a previous increase on March 7.

The repeated upward revisions clearly indicate the growing impact of international fuel price fluctuations on the LPG Price Hike India.

With back-to-back hikes, many businesses may be forced to adjust pricing, indirectly affecting consumers.

ATF Prices Also See Sharp Surge

Alongside LPG, aviation turbine fuel (ATF) prices have also witnessed a massive increase. In Delhi, domestic ATF prices have surged by over 114%, reflecting the broader impact of global energy disruptions that are also driving the LPG Price Hike India.

Fuel Pricing Controlled by Oil Companies

Fuel prices in India are revised by major state-run companies like Indian Oil Corporation, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited, and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited.

These companies adjust rates based on global crude oil prices, currency exchange fluctuations, and supply-demand factors, all contributing to the current LPG Price Hike India.

Consumers Brace for Continued Price Pressure

The ongoing LPG Price Hike India is placing financial pressure on both households and businesses. With global uncertainties still affecting fuel markets, further price volatility cannot be ruled out in the near future.

As a result, consumers across India may continue to feel the impact of rising fuel costs in the coming weeks.
