Our boys’ ferocious energy destroyed the competitors once more. In whatever field, Bharat is certain to triumph. This comes after India won their second Asia Cup title in the T20 format on Sunday night at the Dubai International Stadium, defeating Pakistan by five wickets in the summit match.

PM Modi’s Operation Sindoor on the field of play

Following the game, Prime Minister Narendra Modi compared the Asia Cup final between India and Pakistan to Operation Sindoor, stating that the result was the same and that India had prevailed. “Operation Sindoor on the games field,” he stated on X. The result is the same: India prevails! Congratulations to our cricket players. After the Pahalgam terror assault, India dubbed its military operation “Operation Sindoor” because it attacked Pakistani militants and later clashed with the Pakistani troops.

Team India was also hailed by External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar. “Congratulations to Team India on winning the Asia Cup,” Jaishankar wrote in a post that was shared on X. “New India delivers.” Late Sunday night, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta congratulated Team India on their decisive win over Pakistan to secure the Asia Cup final. She said that the 144 crore Indians are celebrating this “historic” triumph during Maa Durga’s Navratri.

In addition to winning the Asia Cup, India overcame Pakistan in the finals of the competition without losing, winning the group stage by seven wickets, the Super Four stage by six wickets, and the final match by five wickets. The Indian squad declines to accept Naqvi’s prize.

It should be mentioned that India, the winners of the Asia Cup, declined to take the trophy from ACC chairman Mohsin Naqvi on Sunday. Naqvi is also the chairman of the cricket board and the interior minister of Pakistan. Indian players were standing within 15 yards of Naqvi, who was waiting for the award ceremony to start. They were refusing to move from their positions, and the formalities were taking far too long. The management of the Indian team inquired as to who would present the trophy to the winners, and ACC convened in a meeting after learning that their boss was not a suitable name for the winners.
