Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor was spotted enjoying a memorable day at the famous Lord’s Cricket Ground in London. He played a friendly game of cricket while his wife, Mira Rajput, cheered from the stands.
Shahid shared a series of candid photos on Instagram that showcased his day on the historic pitch. Dressed in full white cricket gear, including a jersey, shoes, and cap, he looked every bit the sportsman, like a young fan living his dream. One of his posts simply said, “What a day!”
Mira Rajput attended the outing in elegant white attire, cheering from the stands and sharing sweet moments with Shahid. Her presence clearly made the day special, with fans calling their chemistry “relationship goals.” The official Instagram account of Lord’s noted it was an honor to have a Bollywood star on their famous turf, calling Shahid’s participation a privilege.
The outing reminded fans of Shahid’s role in the sports drama Jersey, where he played Arjun Talwar, a cricketer making a comeback in his thirties. Cricket enthusiasts flooded social media with comments suggesting that this real-life moment mirrored scenes from the film.
Currently, Shahid is filming the upcoming movie Arjun Ustara, directed by Vishal Bhardwaj and featuring Triptii Dimri, Nana Patekar, and Randeep Hooda. The film is set for a December release and will be a major theatrical event. Meanwhile, his previously discussed historical project about Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj has been put on hold.
