New Delhi: Popular TV actor Shoaib Ibrahim’s sister and Dipika Kakar’s sister-in-law, Saba Ibrahim, is trending once again, not for acting, but for a major update about her restaurant business in Mumbai. Known for her YouTube channel with 3.79 million subscribers, Saba Ibrahim recently shared that she has temporarily shut down her restaurant, Khushamadeed, due to multiple challenges, including an ongoing LPG shortage.

Why Is Saba Ibrahim Trending?

In her latest vlog, Saba Ibrahim explained the tough decision to close the restaurant along with her husband, Khalid Niyaz. She said, “This is very sad news for us and for all of you. We have to close our restaurant. Why are we closing it? First of all, we are not getting enough gas cylinders—they are very limited. That’s one reason.”

She added that the shortage of LPG cylinders has affected not just her restaurant but nearby eateries as well. “We’ve been under constant stress trying to get cylinders. This is happening to everyone—our neighboring restaurants have also been closed for 2-3 days. Hopefully, we’ll find a solution soon,” Saba revealed.

Other Challenges Faced by Saba Ibrahim

Apart from the gas shortage, Saba Ibrahim highlighted operational difficulties due to her restaurant’s initial setup. She explained that the interior team left gaps in the panelling work, which allowed rodents to enter the premises. Concerned about hygiene and safety, the couple decided to temporarily close the restaurant for 15-20 days. Saba added, “When you visit next, you might not see the same look, but we’ll try our best to make it as similar as possible.”

Saba Ibrahim’s Career Beyond TV

Unlike her brother Shoaib Ibrahim and sister-in-law Dipika Kakar, who are well-known for shows like Sasural Simar Ka, Saba Ibrahim has not acted in television or films. Instead, she has built a strong following on YouTube, where she shares insights into her personal life, including her journey as a new mother, family moments, and now, her experience running a restaurant.

Fans of Saba Ibrahim continue to show support for her restaurant venture, while eagerly waiting for the reopening of Khushamadeed. The temporary closure highlights the challenges faced by restaurateurs amid supply chain issues and operational hurdles, even for celebrity-backed establishments.
