Raghav Juyal, star of The Ba**ds of Bollywood*, says he aspires to become the biggest superstar in the country, just like his idol Shah Rukh Khan.

Mumbai: Raghav Juyal, the protagonist of “The Ba***ds of Bollywood,” has expressed his desire to become the most prominent celebrity in the country, much like his idol Shah Rukh Khan.

Raghav, who is from Dehradun, a city that is far from the glamour of Mumbai, has captivated both his followers and critics with his performances in films such as “ABCD 2,” “Kill,” and most recently the web series “The Ba***ds of Bollywood,” which is the directorial debut of Shah Rukh’s son, Aryan Khan.

“I aspire to become the most prominent celebrity on Earth.” I am poised to become the most prominent figure in this nation. I am committed to achieving that level and will not accept anything less. I will be graced by God if I am able to accomplish even more. I have contended with everyone to reach this location, and I am from Dehradun. In an interview with PTI, the actor stated, “If okhlee mein sar de diya, to muslo se kya ghabrana?”

Juyal, who was initially identified during “Dance India Dance” in 2011, is a fan of Shah Rukh Khan, much like his character Parvaiz in the series, who cherishes Emraan Hashmi.

The 34-year-old recollected standing in front of the superstar’s iconic bungalow, Mannat, amidst the throngs of fans who would assemble outside, when he came to Mumbai.

“I would visit Mannat on a nearly weekly basis, solely for the experience of being in his presence and experiencing that sense of awe.” I used to contemplate the individual (SRK) who originated from a humble neighborhood in Delhi and has since become a worldwide celebrity. It is a place of utter awe for actors like us. “So when I entered for the first time, the sensation was unreal,” he remarked.

He visited Mannat to discuss his role with Aryan in the series, which features Juyal as Parvaiz, the close companion and confidant of Aasmaan Singh (Lakshya), an ambitious newcomer attempting to establish himself in the glitzy yet unpredictable world of Bollywood.

The series, which is a blend of drama, comedy, and satire, provides a behind-the-scenes perspective on Bollywood, delving into the unpredictable nature of show business, friendship, and ambition.

Juyal was one of the numerous individuals who attended the audition for the highly sought-after Netflix series, which was supported by Shah Rukh’s Red Chillies Entertainment.

Nevertheless, Juyal expressed some skepticism regarding the project after reading the script, as the character of Parvaiz was not initially sufficiently developed.

However, Aryan extended an invitation to Mannat and persuaded him to participate in the production.

“He stated, ‘Brother, I have complete confidence in you.'” I have confidence in my abilities. This character is my absolute favorite. I am aware of your identity, and we will collaborate to resolve this matter. I gained assurance as a result. I declared, “Let’s try it.” I suggest that we do so. I typically portray lead or “hero” characters in my other ventures, so this was a departure. However, I succeeded in convincingly portraying the character of Parvaiz, and it has since become highly popular. Therefore, Aryan was correct. In reality, the actor adopted the character of Parvaiz from an associate of Aryan.

“I would converse with him, observe his demeanor, and he would utter phrases such as “apne ko to…” and “LGTV.” I assimilated these details in order to ensure that my performance was authentic. He was unaware of this. He was astounded when he encountered the character following the performance. In the third episode of the series, Juyal’s Parvaiz, who is a devoted admirer of Emraan Hashmi, encounters his icon. This moment is a standout. He then abruptly delivers a rendition of Hashmi’s iconic song “Kaho Na Kaho” from “Murder” (2004), which incorporates both Hindi and Arabic lyrics.

The actor and Aryan were aware that the scene would be well-received; however, they were taken aback by its prominence on social media.

“None of it was deliberate.” I did not intend to weep or shiver. I simply responded in accordance with the character’s behavior. “What else can a character do when someone they regard as their god is standing in front of them?” Particularly an individual such as Parvaiz. Therefore, I succumbed to tears. I experienced an emotional response.

“The scene was unique because the audience laughed, despite the emotional nature of the character.” It is possible that the outcome would have been different if I had not wept or shivered. Emraan sir promptly comprehended the situation upon his initial observation, and he proceeded by following the flow.
