Jasmine Sandlas Calls Dhurandhar 2 a “Masterpiece of Hindi Cinema”

The spy thriller Dhurandhar 2, directed by Aditya Dhar, has taken the nation by storm. Since its release, the film has broken box-office records and won massive acclaim from audiences, cementing its status as one of the most talked-about Hindi films in recent years. Singer Jasmine Sandlas, who lent her voice to several songs in Dhurandhar 2, has now shared her admiration for the film, calling it the “best Hindi film of all time.”

Speaking to Humans of Bombay, Jasmine said, “I think it is the best Hindi film of all time. Now it is a massive statement but it is so appropriate… in recent years, which other film, except Dhurandhar or Dhurandhar 2, has hypnotized audiences this way and taken over social media?”

She further added, “Tickets are nearly impossible to get in theatres! I have not seen a frenzy like this in many, many years. I feel so lucky to be a part of Dhurandhar 2. People are connecting with the music, the story, and the performances globally.”

Jasmine also credited the success of Dhurandhar 2 to the “pure intentions” of the cast, crew, music composer Shashwat Sachdev, and director Aditya Dhar. She performed the songs Shararat, Main Aur Tu, and Jaiye Sajana for the film.

After the first film’s release in December last year, the Ranveer Singh-starrer Dhurandhar made history as one of the highest-grossing Hindi films of all time. Dhurandhar 2 continues the story, following Ranveer’s character as he is trained to become Hamza Ali Mazari and navigates the criminal and political underworld of Lyari in Pakistan, dismantling a terror network threatening India.

The sequel features intense face-offs between Ranveer Singh and Arjun Rampal and stars R Madhavan, Rakesh Bedi, Sara Arjun, Danish Pandor, and Sanjay Dutt.
