Samantha Ruth Prabhu weds Raj Nidimoru in a serene Bhuta Shuddhi Vivaha ceremony at Isha Foundation, Coimbatore; first pictures shared online.
Samantha Ruth Prabhu, an actress, has formally started a new phase of her life. On December 1, the celebrity wed filmmaker Raj Nidimoru at the Isha Foundation in Coimbatore in a customary Linga Bhairavi Vivaha ceremony. On Monday, Samantha shared the first pictures from the wedding on her Instagram account, and her close friend Shilpa Reddy gave fans a deeper peek at the preparations and ceremonies.

One of the pictures that Shilpa posted shows Samantha and Raj sitting together in their wedding attire, looking at one other quietly and affectionately. Additionally, Shilpa posted a video showcasing the considerate “vivah kanukalu” — wedding presents for guests — which included handmade Indian chocolate bars, a note from Sadhguru, incense created from Isha’s flowers, and a perfume from Samantha’s favorite company, Secret Alchemist.

By explaining the early-morning customs that started at six in the morning, Shilpa provided additional background information on the ceremony itself. She wrote, “The Bhuta Shuddhi Vivaha is described as a sort of ‘concrecation of marriages’ rooted in an ancient yogic tradition.” She continued by saying that the ceremony enables a couple to connect on a “elemental level,” creating a stronger, more fundamental bond.

The setting had floral rangolis, softly lit lamps, and décor that was strongly influenced by nature. White flowers, pink roses, and carefully placed flower baskets all contributed to the meditative ambiance.
Shilpa also shared a sweet photo of herself sitting next to Samantha and holding her hand while the bride grinned. Raj was sat across from Samantha, and the newlyweds were already decked out in garlands. “A lovely Bhuta shudhi vivaha 🙏🏼🪷 of Sam and Raj @isha.foundation,” Shilpa wrote. It was enjoyable to wear this straightforward and lovely kanchi cotton hand-woven sari in suspicious leaf green with a red border. It was accessorized with South Indian temple jewelry by @manjulajewellers.
