Mumbai: Ranveer Singh’s latest blockbuster Dhurandhar: The Revenge has created history at the ticket windows, as the Dhurandhar 2 box office collection crossed the ₹1000 crore mark worldwide within just seven days of release. The film, a sequel to the 2025 hit Dhurandhar, continues to dominate both domestic and international markets.

According to trade reports, the Dhurandhar 2 box office collection currently stands at ₹623.42 crore (net) and ₹744.58 crore (gross) in India. With an additional ₹261.92 crore coming from overseas markets, the film’s total worldwide collection has reached an impressive ₹1,006.50 crore.

Strong Opening Week Drives Massive Earnings

The Dhurandhar 2 box office collection got off to a phenomenal start, earning ₹102.55 crore on its opening day (March 19). The momentum continued with ₹80.72 crore on March 20 and a massive ₹113 crore on March 21.

On March 22, the film registered ₹114.85 crore, supported by over 21,600 shows across India. However, like most big releases, the film saw a gradual drop during weekdays. It collected ₹65 crore on Monday (March 23) and ₹56.55 crore on Tuesday (March 24). By Wednesday, collections dipped further to ₹47.70 crore.

The Hindi version contributed the majority with ₹44 crore, while the Telugu version added ₹2.50 crore on Wednesday.

Overseas Market Adds to Success

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh highlighted the film’s strong overseas performance, particularly in the UK, where it recorded exceptional numbers. The overseas earnings have now crossed ₹250 crore, significantly boosting the overall Dhurandhar 2 box office collection.

Dhurandhar 2 vs Pushpa 2: A Tight Race

The film has joined the elite ₹1000 crore club within a week, a milestone recently achieved by Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2. However, Dhurandhar 2 appears to be leading the race, having surpassed Pushpa 2’s Hindi net first-week collection of ₹425 crore.

Industry experts attribute this success to the film’s strong performance in mass circuits as well as high occupancy in urban multiplexes, creating a perfect box office storm.

With its record-breaking pace, the Dhurandhar 2 box office collection is expected to continue its शानदार run in the coming days. Backed by strong word-of-mouth and massive audience turnout, the film is well on track to set new benchmarks in Indian cinema.
