Popular singer-rapper Badshah has landed in the headlines after the Badshah Chandigarh Club in Sector 26 was sealed by the Chandigarh Administration. Officials reportedly took action after identifying multiple building and operational violations at the nightclub.
Chandigarh Administration Takes Action Against Badshah Chandigarh Club
The Badshah Chandigarh Club, known as SAGO By Badshah, was sealed following an inspection that allegedly revealed several irregularities. According to officials, the administration had earlier issued a notice to the club seeking an explanation regarding the alleged violations.
After reviewing the response and conducting further checks, authorities decided to seal the establishment. Police sources stated that while notices have been served to a few other clubs in Sector 26, the Badshah Chandigarh Club is currently the only venue against which such action has been taken.
Notice Issued Before Sealing
Authorities had reportedly given the Badshah Chandigarh Club an opportunity to address the concerns raised in the notice. However, after identifying multiple shortcomings, the administration proceeded with the sealing operation as part of its ongoing crackdown on rule violations in the city’s entertainment hubs.

Badshah’s Previous Controversies
The development comes months after Badshah faced criticism over his song “Tatihri.” The track sparked controversy over its lyrics and visuals, leading to complaints and legal action. The Haryana State Commission for Women also issued a summons to the singer, and an FIR was reportedly registered in the matter.
Following the backlash, Badshah apologized and later released a revised version of the song.
