Indian TV actress Archana Gautam, widely known for her bubbly and humorous persona, recently shared a shocking personal revelation. On the show The 50, Archana opened up about her abusive past relationship, where she endured severe physical abuse from her ex-boyfriend.

Archana Gautam’s Shocking Confession

Archana revealed that despite her bold on-screen image, she became vulnerable in love. She told host Yuvika Chaudhary about the extreme abuse she suffered. “I may look bold, but in love, I was weak,” said Archana, becoming emotional during the interview.

Yuvika Chaudhary responded, “This is not love. No one who beats you with shoes or physically hurts you is showing love.”

Archana shared that she had tried to change her ex-boyfriend. “He wasn’t very good-looking initially, but I made him my hero. I cared for him 24/7, even buying him 100 pairs of clothes,” she said.

The Reality of Her Abusive Relationship

Despite all her efforts, Archana Gautam faced relentless physical abuse. “I cannot even describe how brutally he beat me. Once, he attacked me so badly in front of another girl that she ran away scared,” she revealed. The abuse took a serious toll on her mental health.

Battling Depression and Recovery

The trauma from this abusive relationship pushed Archana into depression. “I completely lost my mental balance at that time. Thankfully, I’ve moved past that phase now,” she said.

Yuvika Chaudhary emphasized the importance of self-love: “If you are constantly under someone else’s control, is that really love? It’s essential to love yourself before letting anyone else affect your mental health.”
