Mukesh Ambani pledges Rs 7 lakh crore investment in Gujarat over five years, focusing on AI, clean energy, manufacturing, and education.

Reliance Industries Chairman and Managing Director Mukesh Ambani has reaffirmed the company’s long-term commitment to Gujarat and established it as a global center for advanced manufacturing, clean energy, and artificial intelligence by announcing new investments totaling Rs 7 lakh crore in the state over the next five years.

Speaking at the inaugural Regional Vibrant Gujarat Summit in Rajkot, Ambani commended Prime Minister Narendra Modi for guiding the nation from “potential to performance” and reviving India’s “civilizational self-belief.”

“This decade is defining for India. Gujarat continues to be the “body, heart, and soul” of Reliance, Ambani stated. “Under the Prime Minister’s leadership, India is not just preparing for the future—India is shaping it.”

Investment Drive of Rs 7 Lakh Crore

According to Ambani, Reliance has already made over ₹3.5 lakh crore in Gujarat over the past five years, and by 2030, it plans to increase that amount to Rs 7 lakh crore. He said that the investments would increase wealth generation while creating a big number of jobs and lives.

He declared, “Reliance is already the biggest investor in Gujarat, and our commitment will only grow stronger.”

Highlighting Reliance’s clean energy goals, Ambani stated that Jamnagar is being transformed into the most integrated clean-energy ecosystem globally, encompassing sophisticated materials, solar power, battery storage, green hydrogen, green fertilizers, sustainable aviation fuel, and marine fuels.

Previously India’s top exporter of hydrocarbons, he predicted that Jamnagar will emerge as the nation’s top exporter of green energy and green products.

Ambani also revealed plans to use one of the biggest multi-gigawatt solar projects in the world, backed by contemporary grid integration and 24-hour storage, to turn Kutch into a global center for renewable energy.

According to him, Jio will shortly introduce a “people-first” artificial intelligence platform that will enable Indians to access AI services in their native tongues, and Reliance is constructing India’s largest AI-ready data center in Jamnagar.

“Every Indian should have access to affordable AI,” he stated.

Ambani backed the Center’s efforts to have Ahmedabad host the 2036 Olympics and announced that the Reliance Foundation would administer the Veer Savarkar Multi-Sports Complex in Naranpura in collaboration with the Gujarat government. Additionally, he declared plans to greatly enhance Saurashtra’s educational facilities and build a world-class hospital in Jamnagar.
Honoring Gujarati Origins

Ambani remembered his father, Dhirubhai Ambani, referring to him as “a son of Saurashtra” and stating that the area had great emotional meaning for Reliance.

Global geopolitical challenges, according to Ambani, won’t stop India’s progress. He declared, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi is India’s unbeatable barrier.”
