September 8, 2026: Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has approved around ₹86 crore for development projects across the state. The latest approvals cover roads, religious tourism, urban amenities and higher education.
A major part of the allocation will go to Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar. The government has approved ₹80 crore as the second instalment for salaries, allowances and other institutional expenses.
The remaining approvals cover several smaller projects in Pithoragarh, Almora, Dehradun and Chamoli.
