BHUBANESWAR — Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar (XIMB) successfully wrapped up the eighth edition of its flagship event. The XIM Bhubaneswar Business Excellence Summit 2026 ran over two days, concluding on August 30.
The summit centered on the theme “Building Resilient Businesses – Navigating Risk to Shape A Sustainable Future”. Furthermore, top corporate leaders, university faculty, students, and alumni assembled on campus to address market volatility. Key discussions evaluated technological adaptation, artificial intelligence, ESG mandates, and corporate governance.

The XIM Bhubaneswar Business Excellence Summit 2026 opened with a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony. Dr. Biswa Swarup Misra, Dean of Academics at XIMB, delivered the inaugural address. Next, Dr. Fr. K.S. Casimir, S.J., Vice Chancellor of XIM University, delivered the theme address. He emphasized open collaboration and the human edge in building resilient organizations.
The Day 1 keynote speaker was Sandeep Bagla, CEO of TRUST Mutual Fund. He introduced his practical 4A Framework to manage market shocks.

Finally, Dr. Ritesh Kumar Dubey moderated a risk management panel with Kiran Rana and Chittaranjan Mohanty. They highlighted human judgment alongside AI systems during crisis situations.
