The Ethanol Policy Debate has intensified after Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal criticised the government’s response to citizens raising questions about ethanol. The remarks were shared by Kejriwal on his official X account.
Addressing the Ethanol Fuel Policy Debate, Kejriwal alleged that ordinary people who speak about ethanol are being labelled as “anti-national” or part of the “petrol lobby.” He said such reactions discourage open discussion and are not appropriate in a democratic society.
Kejriwal to Meet Citizens at Petrol Pumps
As part of the Ethanol Fuel Policy Debate, Kejriwal announced that he would visit petrol pumps and service stations to interact directly with ordinary people. He said the purpose of the visits is to understand public concerns and hear firsthand experiences related to ethanol and fuel issues.

Calls for Open Public Discussion on Ethanol Fuel Policy
The Ethanol Fuel Policy Debate continues to draw attention as political leaders and citizens discuss fuel-related policies. Kejriwal said that instead of criticising people for asking questions, the government should engage with public concerns and encourage transparent dialogue.
