Actor Priyanka Chopra Jonas will be the star speaker at the 23rd edition of the India Conference at Harvard University, while Congress MP Shashi Tharoor is set to deliver the keynote address. Organised annually by Harvard students, this year’s conference will take place on February 14–15 in the United States. The theme, “The India We Imagine,” will feature sessions on a wide array of topics including business and capital, entrepreneurship, technology and innovation, government and leadership, national security and geopolitics, sustainability and infrastructure, health, equity and human development, culture, arts, and sports.

The India Conference (ICH) shared the announcement on Instagram, writing: “We’re thrilled to welcome Priyanka Chopra Jonas in conversation with Anjula Acharia to the India Conference 2026, organised by students at Harvard!”
In the post, the organisers also praised Chopra as an award-winning actor, producer, New York Times bestselling author, and global cultural icon, noting her 25+ years of experience reshaping storytelling across industries and borders. They added, “From blockbuster performances to impactful work as a producer and advocate, Priyanka continues to influence global conversations in film, business, and philanthropy. On the professional front, Chopra will next star in the Hollywood action-thriller The Bluff, directed by Frank E Flowers, releasing on Prime Video on February 25, 2026. She was last seen in Heads of State alongside Idris Elba and John Cena.
The actress is also returning to Indian cinema after an eight-year hiatus with SS Rajamouli’s Varanasi, co-starring Mahesh Babu. The highly anticipated film is expected to release in 2027.
