Punjab Horticulture Minister Mohinder Bhagat says the Mann government is ensuring transparent and timely delivery of farmer-centric horticulture schemes.
The Punjab Government, led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, is making sure that the full benefits of farmer-centric schemes reach farmers at the grassroots level in a transparent and time-bound manner in order to boost horticulture, Punjab Horticulture Minister Mohinder Bhagat said on Monday.
According to Bhagat, the state government has taken a proactive, farmer-first stance in order to successfully execute welfare programs throughout Punjab. He stated that in order to ensure that farmers have no trouble receiving government support, a specific focus is being placed on raising awareness, streamlining processes, and providing benefits on time.
He stated that the Horticulture Department has been instructed to improve coordination at the field level and to continuously advise farmers on eligibility requirements, application processes, and documentation.
The Mann Government, according to Bhagat, is attempting to boost the agricultural economy by encouraging horticulture, raising farmer incomes, and lowering reliance on conventional crops. He called on farmers to come forward and fully utilize the horticultural programs that are offered for their benefit.
