Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini urges opposition to focus on public issues, defends law & order, and highlights government achievements in sports.
According to Sh. Nayab Singh Saini, the chief minister of Haryana, the government is prepared to discuss every topic and concern. Every question will be addressed point-by-point while upholding the devotion to the constitution.
Following the Haryana Vidhan Sabha’s Business Advisory Committee meeting , the Chief Minister was addressing reporters. According to him, the opposition is discussing extending the House’s time, but the meeting has already decided on this. He added that it is required that the second session be held six months following the Monsoon Session. The government has called the Winter Session even though the six-month period will end on February 26.
According to the Chief Minister, if the question of expanding House time is brought up, one should study past sessions to learn more. There used to be fewer sessions of Congress. Former Chief Minister Sh. Manohar Lal altered this norm by holding a four-day session in 2014; the current government held a five-day session in 2024.
According to him, the session is solely focused on business. The opposition is urged to participate in meaningful discussion and bring up matters of public concern because the previous session went well. He claimed that the opposition should pay attention to what is being said since they leave when the government makes a good point. The Chief Minister went on to say that the Congress is frustrated as a result of their ongoing losses. Already, the opposition was ready to continue to be upset.

According to the Chief Minister, the opposition squandered a day during the previous session, which prevented even the MLAs’ queries from being finished. As a result, the opposition is once more invited to engage in public discourse.
Regarding the misuse of investigative agencies, the Chief Minister claimed that by hiding behind lies, Congress is causing confusion and fictitious problems. The opposition propagated false information claiming that the Constitution would be at jeopardy if Sh. Narendra Modi were to win a third term as prime minister. According to the Chief Minister, no one can jeopardize the sacred Constitution that Baba Saheb gave as long as Sh. Narendra Modi remains the prime minister.
In response to a query on assaults on athletes in Punjab, the Chief Minister stated that Haryana has superior peace and order and that the police are operating at full alert. Everyone who has committed a crime has been imprisoned. He stated that although blind cases could take some time, the Haryana Police had always responded appropriately. He claimed that the current AAP administration and earlier Punjabi governments are only looking out for themselves.
According to the Chief Minister, women, young people, and athletes in Punjab are not doing well. Nobody is safe when athletes are shot in the middle of the field. According to him, the benefits of Haryana’s sports program are readily apparent. When comparing the amount of medals earned prior to 2014 with the current total, the illustration is clear. The government has made efforts to improve the facilities for sports.
