The pair, who were married at Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad in 2024, commemorated their anniversary by revealing a segment of their wedding film—including a remark from Sobhita that has since garnered widespread attention.
In the excerpt, she states, “And yet, in his absence, I would not be complete.” In a conversation with News18, she acknowledged that she had been experiencing considerable emotionality at the time those remarks were documented, and she subsequently provided a more detailed explanation of her intended meaning.

Sobhita explained that individuals frequently require varying lengths of time to recognize their completeness independently, yet the process of this realization remains open to the possibility of connection. She stated, “Some individuals reach that realization much earlier, whereas others require more time to feel that they are complete without the need for someone.”
To clarify further, she added, “It is not as if they come and entirely complete you, but through them, you become aware of those aspects of your personality.” Thus, I believe that much affection is born from that longing.
Her reflections emphasized that collaboration, rather than merely occupying an absence, can facilitate an individual’s discovery of their true self.

Although she anticipated a more leisurely schedule following her relocation to Hyderabad as a newlywed, Sobhita has dedicated a significant portion of the year to the production of two Tamil films in Tamil Nadu. However, she expressed that dedicating time to her spouse has never felt obligatory.

The actress characterized the marriage as “blissful,” expressing that she feels “significantly empowered” and “highly inspired” creatively since getting married.
Their Progress to Date
Sobhita and Chaitanya were in a relationship for two years prior to their wedding in 2024 and maintained their privacy until publicly declaring their engagement on Instagram in August of that year. Fans, however, frequently observed them vacationing together well before they made their relationship public.
Chaitanya was formerly married to actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu from 2017 to 2021. Samantha recently married filmmaker Raj Nidimoru on December 1 in Coimbatore.
