CM Yogi Adityanath urges youth to avoid drugs and smartphone addiction, embrace discipline, and prepare for tech-driven future at education event.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has stated that two significant challenges presently confront the youth. One form of substance dependence and another characterized by the overuse of a mobile device or smartphone. Both of these medications should be avoided. The greater the capacity of the youth to secure their own future and that of the nation. Only through abstaining from narcotics can youth fulfill their responsibilities towards their family, society, and the nation.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath presided over the principal ceremony marking the conclusion of the 93rd Founder Week celebrations of Maharana Pratap Shiksha Parishad, held at the auditorium of Mahayogi Gorakhnath University on Wednesday. Welcoming Uttarakhand Governor Lt Gen Gurmeet Singh, who served as the principal guest on the occasion, he advised the youth to refrain from mobile phone addiction and drug abuse.

As an educator and protector, the Chief Minister advised the youth to exercise caution, as the drug syndicate makes urgent efforts to entrap the younger generation with quick means. Educational institutions must also remain equally vigilant.

The Chief Minister stated that the young must prepare themselves to face a new challenge, as the adversary of the nation seeks to influence or penetrate in some manner. We ought not to provide him with the opportunity.

The Chief Minister stated that an excessive amount of young people’s time is being devoted to mobile, and this should be minimized. He explained to the youth that, although it may be difficult to do this abruptly, it should be reduced gradually. You should only use the mobile phone for half an hour.

Establish a schedule for communication solely when I wish to discuss necessary matters, avoiding unrelated topics. The Chief Minister stated that excessive use of smartphones can adversely affect your eyesight. It will also diminish mental acuity, entirely undermine wisdom, and impair physical capacity. Therefore, one should endeavor to minimize smartphone usage as much as possible.

New employment opportunities will be introduced within the technology sector.

Learning to equip themselves for future challenges alongside advancements in time and technology, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath stated that the world has entered a new era characterized by artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, drones, and robotics today. None of us are able to detach ourselves from it.

It is also not advisable for us to proceed with it. He stated that we must also address the mindset that technological advancement will inevitably lead to a decrease in employment opportunities. This assertion is incorrect; however, technological advancements will inevitably occur, leading to the creation of new employment opportunities independently. Speaking at the event, the Chief Minister encouraged the students and emphasized that success in life belongs to those who do not lose fortitude and maintain patience. He stated that failure in life occurs solely when one adopts a negative attitude. Rather than condemning others or lamenting the darkness, if we begin to collaboratively undertake the task of illuminating the path, and if we progress together, there will be no place for darkness anywhere.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Uttarakhand Governor Lt Gen Gurmeet Singh honored the distinguished institutions of Maharana Pratap Shiksha Parishad, exemplary educators, exceptional staff, distinguished attendants, and outstanding students across postgraduate, graduate, and high school levels, as well as winners of various competitions. Approximately one hundred fifty awards were conferred on stage. Approximately seven hundred honors will be conferred through various institutions.

Two volumes, including Prof. UP Singh Smriti Granth, have been officially launched.

Uttarakhand Governor Lieutenant Gurmeet Singh and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath served as the distinguished visitors at the conference. The book Jeevan Vaanti Certificate Collection Course, authored by UP Singh Smriti Granth and MPPG College, Jungle Dhusad, was officially launched.
