Tota Roy Choudhury is amazed by Dhanush’s instant transformation on Tere Ishk Mein set, calling him “actor par excellence” on Instagram.

Speaking candidly about his experience working with Dhanush on Tere Ishk Mein, Bengali actor Tota Roy Choudhury said he was “wonder-struck” at the dramatic transformation the star goes through as soon as the camera starts rolling.

Tota posted a photo of himself with Dhanush on Instagram with the caption, “With the actor par excellence….”

He remembered how the actor’s transformation from a polite, soft-spoken person to the fierce, angry Shankar happened so quickly that he frequently found himself just staring in wonder.

He claimed that when he heard the word “action,” his change from the polite gentleman he is to the angry and enraged Shankar was so sudden and shocking that frequently I just stared at him in awe.

The actor claimed that after seeing Vetrimaaran’s 2019 period action thriller Asuran, which is based on Poomani’s Vekkai novel, he developed a like for Dhanush. Tota, on the other hand, now admires Dhanush for who he is.

“After watching #asuran, I became a fan of actor #dhanush, but after working with him, I got even more of a fan of the amazing person that @dhanushkraja sir is. The actor, who plays Yashwant Beniwal in the film directed by Aanand L. Rai, wrote, “#tereishkmein.”

Dhanush and Kriti Sanon play the main parts in this spiritual follow-up to Raanjhanaa. It centers on Shankar, who becomes friends with Mukti while she studies him for her PhD.

Shankar enlists in the Indian Air Force after she breaks the relationship and moves on, and when they cross paths again years later, their unresolved past comes to light.

Tota is well-known for his dance routines, martial arts, fitness, and varied acting roles. Among his noteworthy performances are Rohit Sen in Sreemoyee, Chandon Chatterjee in Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, and Feluda in the web series Feludar Goyendagiri, which is based on Satyajit Ray’s Feluda series.

In 1993, he debuted on the big screen opposite Miss Jojo in the Bengali film Duranta Prem, directed by Prabhat Roy. His breakout performance was in the 2003 Bengali film Chokher Bali, which won a National Award and starred Rituparno Ghosh.
