AIR Ujjain inaugurated by CM Dr. Mohan Yadav; Madhya Pradesh’s 20th AIR center will broadcast culture, Malvi dialect, and Simhasth programs daily.

AIR Ujjain :  Dr. Mohan Yadav, chief minister, declared that his long-held goal of having an All India Radio Ujjain Center was now a reality. The building was prepared, but approval was needed before the launch could take place. As soon as it was approved, the AIR Center started operations in Ujjain. Currently, Madhya Pradesh has 20 AIR centers.

Simhasth’s and Ujjain’s splendor will spread widely thanks to programs broadcast from here. Dr. Yadav, chief minister, stated that AIR would carry out this duty with diligence. In addition to providing entertainment, AIR has significantly increased public awareness and service. Ujjain AIR, which broadcasts every day from 5:55 AM to 11 PM, is poised to write a new chapter in broadcasting history. Speaking at the inaugural ceremony on Wednesday was Chief Minister Dr. Yadav. The occasion was also attended by Dr. L. Murugan, the Union Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting.

Dr. Yadav, the chief minister, announced new development projects worth ₹179 crore for the Ujjain district. These projects include the opening of the Sandipani School in Maharajwada (₹55.27 crore), the newly built Ujjain Railway Overbridge (₹30.21 crore), more than ₹50 crore for various road construction and upgrades, new hostels for 250 boys and girls at Dhanvantari Ayurvedic College (₹32.69 crore), a hi-tech nursery (₹3 crore), and a reptile and Snake Park (₹8.37 crore). A leader in Ayurvedic remedies, he claimed, Ujjain intends to present the national government with a “AIIMS for Ayurveda.”

Integrating Heritage, Culture, and Devotion in Ujjain Air

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav hailed the opening of the AIR center as a historic occasion and complimented the city’s citizens on it. He gave Minister Dr. Murugan and Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi credit for their efforts in making it happen. Dr. Yadav, the chief minister, also emphasized the devotion and spirit of Baba Mahakal that permeates Ujjain.

The pride of Emperor Vikramaditya is reflected in the atmosphere of Ujjain, which is regarded as Lord Krishna’s seat of learning. The AIR center is anticipated to develop into a “Heavenly and Iconic” voice for Ujjain, particularly in light of the 2028 Simhasth celebration. On December 1, the state will commemorate Gita Jayanti, and the administration is transforming all of the Krishna-related locations in Ujjain into pilgrimage sites.

AIR’s position as a platform for artists and cultural practitioners was highlighted by Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, who also praised the organization’s services to the arts, culture, education, health, and agriculture. The brand-new AIR center will play a key role in transmitting the vibrant Simhasth Mahakumbh to millions of people around the globe as preparations get underway for the huge event in 2028. He also pledged important improvements to Ujjain’s infrastructure, such as wider roads and better connectivity. The water screen projection and musical fountain display at Rudrasagar are examples of innovative attractions that will contribute to the expansion of Ujjain religious importance and folklore. Additionally, the city is becoming a center for medical tourism, and work is under ongoing to build a medical facility that will be completed by Simhasth in 2028.

Broadcasting News in Malvi Dialect

Union Minister Dr. L. Murugan announced that AIR Ujjain will begin airing locally produced shows on a full-scale basis today. This 20th AIR station in the state would train young people in media and broadcasting techniques. The center will bring the culture, folk arts, food, and dialects of the Malwa region new attention.

It is significant that news will also be aired in Malvi.
