Punjab government ensures safe and comfortable arrangements for 350th Shaheedi Shatabdi Samagam at Sri Anandpur Sahib with tents, transport, and 8,000 security personnel.

The Punjab government has taken strong preparations to guarantee the comfort and safety of devotees during the 350th Shaheedi Shatabdi Samagam in remembrance of the unmatched martyrdom of the Ninth Guru, Dhan Dhan Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji.  Director General of Police Gaurav Yadav and Chief Secretary KAP Sinha went over the preparations and told personnel that carelessness would not be accepted. All personnel must operate with a spirit of service and prioritize giving the devotees the utmost convenience, the Chief Secretary stressed.

According to the Chief Secretary, four divine Nagar Kirtans will arrive at Sri Anandpur Sahib on November 22. Meanwhile, Sri Akhand Path Sahib will begin in Guru Ka Bagh, Budha Dal Cantt, on November 23. He also mentioned that the Sarv Dharam Sammelan, which is set for November 23, will feature well-known religious figures and saints from both India and overseas. The Bhog ceremony of Sri Akhand Path Sahib is scheduled for November 25, and the Punjab Vidhan Sabha will hold a special session at Bhai Jaita Ji Memorial on November 24. Additionally, CM Bhagwant Singh Mann will go to a number of religious gatherings.

The Chief Secretary added that the government has made accommodations for about 10,000 devotees in the Tent City to aid them. Additionally, transportation to and from the event areas will be provided by 500 complimentary e-rickshaws and shuttle buses. According to him, 30 contemporary parking areas for cars have been established over 100 acres. With a lot of help from students, volunteers, and social groups, a unique tree planting campaign is also being started to make Sri Anandpur Sahib clean, neat, and green.

The administration is constantly holding multi-level meetings and on-site inspections to complete the arrangements. Officials promised a seamless and secure experience for all incoming devotees. Making ensuring that this momentous occasion is carried out with the utmost devotion, discipline, and service is the government’s main goal.

Regarding the security measures, DGP said that over 8,000 security guards have been sent out and are keeping an eye on 25 distinct sectors. The entire area will be monitored by more than 500 CCTV cameras, guaranteeing that any anti-social element can be quickly caught. The special Vidhan Sabha session’s security would be under the direction of ADGP Naunihal Singh.
