Punjab Information Commission releases pictorial brochure and documentary commemorating Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib’s 350th martyrdom, celebrating his legacy of peace.

Inderpal Singh Dhanna, the Chief Information Commissioner of Punjab, along with Harpreet Sandhu, Dr. Bhupinder Singh Batth, and Sandeep S. Dhaliwal, the State Information Commissioners of Punjab, released a significant pictorial brochure depicting the Spiritual Journey of Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib to commemorate the ultimate sacrifice of the Guru. The event was held in Chandigarh under the patronage of Inderpal Singh Dhanna, the Chief Information Commissioner of Punjab.

Following a screening by Commission officials, a special documentary highlighting Guru Tegh Bahadur’s life story was also shown in the Commission. Harpreet Sandhu, the State Information Commissioner for Punjab, has made a commendable effort by compiling a documentary honoring Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib’s 350th year of sacrifice.

In order to disseminate the Ninth Sikh Guru’s holy message of universal brotherhood and peace, commission personnel were also given a picture brochure and a religious book commemorating the 350th anniversary of Guru Teg Bahadur Sahib’s martyrdom.

During the religious event, Inderpal Singh Dhanna, Punjab’s Chief Information Commissioner, said that the book and picture brochure honor the Ninth Sikh Guru’s supreme sacrifice and timeless message of peace and sacrifice. Harpreet Sandhu, Punjab’s State Information Commissioner, wrote the book, which features images of the historical shrines where Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib left his mark. The Honorable Governor of Punjab, Raj Bhawan Chandigarh, has previously published the aforementioned book for the State of Punjab.

The book will be a true monument to the unmatched legacy of the Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib, known as “Hind Di Chadar,” for his ultimate sacrifice in defense of religious freedom and human dignity, according to Harpreet Sandhu, State Information Commissioner, Punjab, who wrote it.

At the Punjab State Information Commission in Chandigarh, the religious celebration honoring Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib’s 350th martyrdom year came to an end with a tribute to the unparalleled legacy of the great Guru known as “Hind Di Chadar” for his tremendous sacrifice in defense of religious freedom and human dignity.
