Under Sh. Prabhjot Singh, 16 Haryana SIT students tour Infosys, Chandigarh, exploring AI, research, and real-world IT industry practices.

Under the direction of Sh. Prabhjot Singh, Director General of the

, a group of sixteen exceptional students visited Infosys at Rajiv Gandhi IT Park in Chandigarh for an educational tour. This tour is a significant way to introduce students to new technology, contemporary research activities, and real-world industrial work practices.

Sh. Prabhjot Singh, the director general, said that exposing pupils to the fast evolving global technological context requires industry exposure. Such instructional trips are periodically organized by the department with this objective in mind.

According to a department spokesperson, students from the final year of computer science at all five State Institutes of Technology (SITs) in Haryana, including Guru Jambheshwar University of Science & Technology in Hisar and Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science & Technology in Murthal, took part in the visit.

The departmental team and students were greeted by Ms. Dimple Bhasin and Sh. Harpreet Singh when they arrived at Infosys. A unique interactive session on artificial intelligence, research, and new prospects in the IT sector was arranged by Infosys for the students.

A thorough tour of the Infosys site was then given to the students, during which they were shown the newest technology, cutting-edge labs, corporate culture, and actual industrial working conditions.

The official added that the department had previously planned an educational excursion to ISRO Ahmedabad for 28 students. The next significant turning point in this series is the trip to Infosys. Students from the fields of electrical, computer, and electronics and communication engineering recently visited ISRO Ahmedabad, CSIR-CSIO Chandigarh, PEC Chandigarh, SCL Mohali, NABI, and the IIT Extension Campus as part of study trips.

The statement added that more than 400 academic members from the departments of Civil, Textile, Mechanical, Computer, Electrical, Electronics, and Communication have also visited the IIT campus in New Delhi under the direction of Sh. Prabhjot Singh.
