As part of the Chief Minister’s Village Scheme, the Yogi govt has allocated Rs 7.97 crore for the building and maintenance of 25 rural roads in the Bareilly division during the fiscal year 2025–2026. According to the article, the funding aims to improve connection in rural parts of the districts of Bareilly, Shahjehanpur, Pilibhit, and Badaun.
According to officials, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has directed that the restoration and renovation of religious and historical places continue to be among the highest objectives.
Bareilly: Important road developments approved
Seven rural roads have been chosen for development in Bareilly. Among these is the Bahadupur Bimam Naugawan road connecting Mirgumpur Narikheda and Mirzapur, which has been approved for Rs 1.68 crore and has already been allotted Rs 48.02 lakh. The FCI warehouse and the road leading to Karanpur and the Faridpur-Sathrapur Industrial Area Kachra Processing Plant receive Rs 83.18 lakh (Rs 23.48 lakh released).
Aonla’s Devkola-Rampura road (Rs 1.70 crore sanctioned, Rs 48.10 lakh released), Shahpur Honspsur-Mahimangla road in Mirgumpur (Rs 57.58 lakh sanctioned, Rs 16.22 lakh released), Chatiya Rahmat Ali link road in Navabganj (Rs 65.44 lakh sanctioned, Rs 18.36 lakh released), Faridapur Mutlak Khjuriya link road (Rs 70.55 lakh sanctioned, Rs 19.73 lakh released), and Maheshpur-Fejnagar road (Rs 72.88 lakh sanctioned, Rs 23.48 lakh released, Rs 23.48 lakh released).

The improvement in rural connection in Shahjehanpur
Six initiatives in Shahjehanpur are planned to improve access in rural areas, per the Dainik Jagran report. These include the following: Mustafanagar-Rahimadaspur link road (Rs 1.28 crore sanctioned, Rs 35.89 lakh released), Dingurpur-Dadrol-Sahajapur link road (Rs 1.61 crore sanctioned, Rs 45.64 lakh released), Kurusanda-Panchpir Baba road (Rs 1.35 crore sanctioned, Rs 38.27 lakh released), Parotan link road in Katra (Rs 99.38 lakh sanctioned, Rs 27.80 lakh released), Sukhnaiya-Jhakreli-Lageva Nagla link road in Jalalabad (Rs 1.12 crore sanctioned, Rs 31.40 lakh released), and Mustafanagar-Rahimadaspur link road (Rs 1.28 crore sanctioned, Rs 35.89 lakh released).
The ideas for road construction in Pilibhit
Six road projects are planned in the Pilibhit district. Rs 1.07 crore (Rs 30.11 lakh released) has been allotted for the Pilibhit-Basti-Mirapur route. The Pilibhit-Mazola-Barkhera-Gaganapur link road receives Rs 92.22 lakh, of which Rs 25.79 lakh has been given.
The Eantgav-Bamroli road via Rampur Amrut near Kawiya village (Rs 1.83 crore sanctioned, Rs 38.27 lakh released), the Nyuria Mahof Road-Kanpur Colony-Gupta Colony road (Rs 75.14 lakh sanctioned, Rs 21.02 lakh released), the Puranpur-Pilibhit-Basti-Tiretannath Temple road (Rs 1.86 crore sanctioned, Rs 52.09 lakh released), and the Bilsalpur-Mighauna link road renovation (Rs 73.26 lakh sanctioned, Rs 20.49 lakh released, Rs 73.42 lakh released).
The improvements to Badaun’s infrastructure
There are currently four rural road projects in Badaun. The development of the Ghouspur-Byour road has been approved for Rs 1.11 crore (Rs 31.75 lakh has been released). The road between Barategadar and Rajlamai receives Rs 1.57 crore (Rs 44.30 lakh is released). Rs 1.41 crore (Rs 40.28 lakh released) has been allotted for the Harganpur-Pitam Nagar-Pritam Nagla road in Bilsi. The Rukumapur Pukhta-Barihkheda road rehabilitation receives Rs 85.60 lakh (Rs 23.94 lakh released), while the Nani Sarai-Pachtaur-Bihariapur-Diony road in Dadanganj is approved for Rs 1.27 crore (Rs 35.60 lakh released).
