CM Yogi Adityanath visits Basti to pay homage to Nanda Baba, honoring his lifelong service to Sanatan Dharma and devotion to Goddess Durga and Gorakhnath Temple.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath paid a sincere homage to Nanda Baba, who is highly regarded for his dedication and religious duty, during his visit to Basti on Monday. Nanda Baba died on the evening of November 3–4.

After landing at the helipad on the grounds of Sri Krishna Pandey Inter College by helicopter, the Chief Minister went to Nanda Baba’s ashram at the South Gate. He paid respects in front of the image of Nanda Baba there. During the month of Sawan, Nanda Baba was well-known for serving devotees and for erecting the image of Goddess Durga in the Durga Pandal close to the district hospital in 1970. He also had a strong and enduring connection to the Temple of Gorakhnath.

The Chief Minister recalled Nanda Baba’s important contributions to the welfare and fortification of Sanatan Dharma after paying respects and meeting with the saints and sages who had assembled for the mourning meeting.
