Yogi Adityanath reviews Sambhal projects, urging quick restoration of 19 wells, 68 pilgrimage sites, urban development, and CBG plant construction.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath gave an overview of the current development projects in Sambhal and instructed officials to expedite the district’s initiatives by taking a phased approach.

The chief minister emphasized that the state government places a high premium on Sambhal’s development and instructed officials to rehabilitate traditional wells and old pilgrimage sites before moving on to museum projects and light-and-sound facilities in the second phase.

According to an official release, Adityanath examined developments in a number of departments, including Revenue, Home, Justice, Religious Affairs, PWD, Tourism & Culture, and Urban Development.

He instructed officials to restore the district’s 19 wells and 68 historic pilgrimage sites as soon as possible, pointing out that these landmarks are essential to Sambhal’s identity.

The integrated office complex, which will contain all important departments, was also reviewed by the chief minister.

The chief minister emphasized that restoration efforts should be expedited under the Namami Gange framework and praised rivers as lifelines while reviewing the Mahishmati river revival project.

Officials told him during the discussion that 93% of the land needed for residential and non-residential buildings had already been purchased.

Adityanath urged the relevant departments to eliminate obstacles as soon as possible in order to expedite the land purchase process for the district court, jail, and PAC building.

In addition, he directed the construction of new roads, better public facilities, and land arrangements near the main pilgrimage sites and the intended 24-Kosi Parikrama circuit.

According to the statement, he also evaluated important urban development programs, such as the Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay Nagar Vikas Yojana, the Vandan Yojana, the Mukhyamantri Vaishvik Nagarodaya Yojana, the Antyeshti Sthal Vikas Yojana, the Nagariya Jal Vikas Yojana, the plans for lake and pond revitalization, and the Vandan Yojana.

The chief minister also emphasized the significance of the projected compressed bio-gas (CBG) plant for sustainable urban growth and asked for its construction to be accelerated.
