Jaya Bachchan, a veteran actor and Rajya Sabha MP, was recently seen with her daughter Shweta Bachchan at an event in Mumbai. However, Jaya’s obviously agitated response to the media swarming around her as she entered the venue was what really grabbed everyone’s attention, not the mother-daughter appearance.

Jaya Bachchan becomes agitated with paparazzi

Jaya may be seen arriving for the event wearing a mask and a white costume in a video that is currently doing the rounds online. There was some confusion near the entrance as paparazzi crowded around her to take shots as she entered. Before Shweta took her hand and ushered her ahead, Jaya, who was clearly irritated, paused to scowl at the photographers.

Jaya Bachchan has already voiced her disapproval of being photographed in public. She has frequently criticized the media’s invasive tactics and the absence of limits at public gatherings throughout the years.

Earlier, Jaya expressed her worries about the frequent editing of celebrity videos before they are posted online when she spoke on her granddaughter Navya Naveli Nanda’s podcast, What The Hell Navya. “What they put out and what they take are two different things,” she stated. She went on to say, “I know some people make a comment so that they know there will be a reaction, then there will be a discussion, then there will be a tu-tu-main-main (argument),” in reference to the industry’s provocative culture. Thus, some famous people make a living off of these kinds of items.
