Rakul Preet Singh visits Siddhivinayak Temple for blessings ahead of De De Pyaar De 2, sharing her excitement to work with Ajay Devgn and R. Madhavan.

Mumbai: Ahead of the release of her next movie, “De De Pyaar De 2,” actress Rakul Preet Singh went to the Siddhivinayak Temple in the Dadar neighborhood of the city to ask Lord Ganpati for his blessing.

The actress wore traditional yellow clothing. The actress spoke with reporters outside the temple after asking Lord Ganpati for blessings. She offered them prasad and even requested that the media members hold it in their right hand.

In the meantime, the actress is ready to appear on film alongside R. Madhavan and Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn in “De De Pyaar De 2.” She is the newest member of the franchise and will play the romantic interest of Ajay Devgn’s character in the movie.

The actor had previously talked about her experience working on the movie with R. Madhavan on Monday.

Rakul Preet Singh’s father, played by R. Madhavan, will be the main obstacle in Ashish (played by Ajay Devgn) and Ayesha’s romance.

“I have always been a fan of his,” the actress said, referring to her collaboration with him as his on-screen daughter. Being his daughter was an incredible experience; I believe we learned a great deal from him and had many fascinating chats on the set. He is an amazing actor, and I believe that when you have a talented actor by your side, your performance improves as well. He assisted me in doing that.

She went on to say, “I think it’s been an absolute delight working with him, learning from his wisdom of all these years, and just such a lovely person he is, so grounded, so amazing as a human being that it really reinstates the fact that you have to stay grounded, no matter how many years you have been in the industry.”

The narrative continues in the sequel, which follows Ashish and Ayesha as they deal with love, drama, and humor as Ashish meets her parents.

The follow-up to “De De Pyaar De,” “De De Pyaar De 2,” is directed by Anshul Sharma and produced by Luv Films Luv Ranjan & Ankur Garg and T-Series Bhushan Kumar & Krishan Kumar. Rakul Preet Singh plays Ayesha Khurana in the movie, while Ajay Devgn plays Ashish Mehra, carrying on their age-gap relationship from the first one.

Ashish attempts to win over Ayesha’s family throughout the narrative, negotiating awkward and humorous circumstances brought on by the large age gap and familial dynamics. On November 14, 2025, the movie will be released in theaters.
