Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini orders strict action against officers mishandling complaints on Mhari Sadak App, ensuring timely resolution for citizens.
Mr. Nayab Singh Saini, the chief minister of Haryana, has directed departmental action against 19 executive engineers from different departments for improperly processing public grievances and closing some complaints on the “Mhari Sadak App” without guaranteeing their full resolution.
Two PWD officers, six HSAMB officers, two HSIIDC officers, one Zila Parishad officer, five ULB officers, and three HSVP officers are among them. Additionally, the Chief Minister ordered that contractors who do not respond to complaints within the allotted time be subject to severe consequences.
While presiding over a review meeting on complaints submitted via the “Mhari Sadak App” that was conducted here today, the Chief Minister gave these instructions. He underlined that every assignment given to officials and every public complaint must be handled in a way that is evident on the ground.
The Chief Minister went on to say that officials should only close complaints about roads that were made using the app once they had been fully resolved. He warned that strict action will be taken against any officer who was discovered to be closing complaints without appropriate remedy. In order to improve traffic management and public safety, he also directed that white stripes and signboards be appropriately placed on all state roadways.
In order to prevent any inconvenience to the public, Mr. Nayab Singh Saini instructed staff that all complaints submitted via the “Mhari Sadak App” must be addressed within the allotted period. He instructed the relevant department to take severe measures if any official fails to respond to a complaint in a timely manner or gives false information.

He also underlined the importance of educating the people about the “Mhari Sadak App.” He gave officials instructions to inform the public about the app in a variety of ways and entice them to download it so they may quickly report problems relating to the roads. Roadside potholes also need to be appropriately fixed. In this respect, carelessness will not be accepted.
Additionally, the Chief Minister gave officials instructions to speed up the state’s road mapping project. In order to ensure that complaints received via the “Mhari Sadak App” are resolved within the allotted period, he directed that they be divided into minor and major categories. He also instructed that those who post pictures of potholes on the app be called for confirmation and comments. In order for field officers to use the app effectively and precisely, he underlined the necessity of providing them with training. In order to expedite future maintenance and development work, the Chief Minister further directed ministries whose roads have not yet been mapped to finish the mapping process as soon as possible. In addition, a distinct cell on the app should be made, and grievances pertaining to NH highways should be posted there.
The meeting was attended by Chief Secretary Mr. Anurag Rastogi, Additional Chief Secretary of the Town and Country Planning and Urban Estate Department Mr. Apoorva Kumar Singh, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Mr. Arun Kumar Gupta, Additional Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Dr. Saket Kumar, Chief Administrator HSVP Mr. Chandra Shekhar Khare, Managing Director of HSIIDC Mr. Yash Garg, Chief Administrator of the Haryana State Agricultural Marketing Board Mr. Mukesh Kumar Ahuja, OSD to the Chief Minister Mr. BB Bharti, Mr. Rakesh Sandhu, EIC of PWD Mr. Rajiv Yadav, and officers from several departments were in attendance.
