Haryana CM launches Dayalu-II Scheme Portal to provide fast financial aid for families affected by stray animal accidents via DBT and online registration.

According to Haryana Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini, the Dayalu Scheme will accelerate and improve the accuracy of benefits provided to those impacted by stray animal-caused accidents. This is why the Dayalu-II Scheme Portal has been made simpler.  The Dayalu-II Scheme Portal was launched in Chandigarh by the Chief Minister.

Principal Secretary, Tourism Smt. Kala Ramachandran, OSD to Chief Minister Sh. B.B. Bharti, Additional Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Dr. Saket Kumar, and Chief Secretary Sh. Anurag Rastogi were all present on this particular occasion.

According to the Chief Minister, the Dayalu-II Portal is yet another important step in the direction of the government’s service delivery being more transparent and straightforward. This digital project will help eligible families get the benefits of this program more quickly and accurately. DBT will be used to transmit the program’s financial aid straight to their bank accounts.

He explained that the government offers families financial support under the Dayalu Scheme in the amount of Rs 1 lakh to Rs 5 lakh in the event that a family member dies or becomes disabled as a result of an accident involving stray animals. In the event of injuries, a minimum of Rs 10,000 is given.

In order to receive the benefits of the scheme, the Chief Minister added, it is necessary to register under the Parivar Pehchan Patra (Family ID). A committee appointed at the district level, chaired by the Deputy Commissioner, will make the ultimate decision about financial support. To guarantee claim coordination, the District Statistical official will serve as the district-level nodal official.

Citizens can apply for this scheme’s benefits using the http://dapsy.finhry.gov.in portal. Additionally, the Jan Sahayak mobile app from the government is another way to submit applications.
