CM Nayab Singh Saini opens Haryana State Championship 2025 at Baragarh, launches ₹16.71 crore sports projects, and urges youth to stay drug-free.

Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini declared at the opening of the Haryana State Championship-2025 at Baragarh, Naraingarh, that sports are a powerful tool for directing young people’s energies in a constructive way. He claimed that when a young kid runs on the field, he abstains from narcotics and develops into a capable partner in the development of the country.

The Chief Minister also lay the cornerstone for a four-lane synthetic sports track and a hockey astroturf field, which would be built at a cost of Rs 16.71 crore. Boxer Harnoor Kaur, who took home a silver medal from the October Asian Games, was also honored by Saini.

According to the Chief Minister, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is correct when he says that a player who performs at his highest level on the field always succeeds in life. He claimed that the Haryana footballers’ life have demonstrated the veracity of these claims. Haryana has been home to devoted laborers, athletes, and warriors for generations. Haryana’s children have always given honor to the country, whether it is at the Olympics, Asian Games, Commonwealth Games, or National Championships. The State’s athletes are deserving of praise for this.

Saini claimed that when he first arrived in this hallowed place of Baragarh, he was overcome with excitement and enthusiasm. Over 4,000 active young people are taking part in this event.

According to the Chief Minister, the new track’s construction will give our young people’s hopes a new lease on life. In addition, the new hockey astroturf field will be a significant step towards Haryana being India’s sports powerhouse.
