Haryana Minister Anil Vij congratulated boxer Harnur Kaur from Ambala for winning a silver medal at the 2025 Youth Asian Games in Bahrain

Haryana Energy, Transport, and Labour Minister Anil Vij, today felicitated female boxer Harnur Kaur from Shahpur, Ambala Cantonment, for winning a silver medal in the boxing competition at the Youth Asian Games 2025 held at Bahrain. As a token of encouragement, the Minister presented her with Rs.11,000 from his discretionary fund.

Vij interacted with Harnur Kaur and extended his best wishes for her future endeavors. He said that the state government is providing various facilities to promote and support sportspersons. He further added that the sports infrastructure in Ambala Cantonment has been significantly strengthened, helping local athletes gain recognition at the global level.

On this occasion, Harnur Kaur’s parents were also present, and Energy Minister congratulated them as well. It is noteworthy that Harnur Kaur participated in the Under-17 category during the competition.
