Punjab Agriculture Minister Gurmeet Singh Khuddian hails farmers for 85% drop in stubble burning under CM Bhagwant Mann’s eco-friendly leadership.

Punjab Agriculture Minister Gurmeet Singh Khuddian praised the farmers’ outstanding accomplishment of cutting the number of stubble burning occurrences by an astounding 85%.

Khuddian claimed that the hard effort of Punjab’s farmers, who have transformed an environmental difficulty into a chance for creativity and revenue, and the visionary leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann are to blame for this change. In reference to the central government’s recent kudos for Punjab’s achievements, Khuddian stated, “Punjab’s farmers are not just growing crops anymore, they are growing solutions.”

Paddy straw is currently being used as biomass fuel for thermal plants under the Mann administration, which lowers pollution levels throughout North India and gives farmers more revenue. “The AAP government has demonstrated that environmental preservation and agricultural development can coexist by providing farmers with equipment, awareness campaigns, and market connections for crop residue,” he continued.

Khuddian urged Tarn Taran voters to support the administration that produces tangible outcomes. “Tarn Taran needs to vote for politics that promote progress rather than pollution.” Khuddian stated, “A vote for the AAP is a vote for the farmer, for clean air, and for a prosperous Punjab.”
