Punjab CM Bhagwant Singh Mann predicts AAP’s landslide victory in Tarn Taran by-election, citing pro-people policies and massive public support.

Punjab CM Bhagwant Singh Mann declared that the Aam Aadmi Party is ready to win the Tarn Taran by-election with a landslide victory.

Speaking at rallies supporting AAP candidate Harmeet Singh Sandhu, the chief minister stated that the positive public reaction amply demonstrates that the state government’s pro-people policies will enable the AAP to secure a significant victory in Tarn Taran. According to him, the state administration has implemented a number of important programs for the benefit of all societal segments, and the populace will guarantee the party a resounding win. “The people of Punjab are determined to ensure the success of the AAP because the government has ensured their overall development and prosperity,” he said.

The chief minister claimed that the opposition is only criticizing his government to cause political agitation because they have no real grievance against it. Bhagwant Singh Mann went on to say that his administration would not listen to such ludicrous claims and would keep working for the advancement of the state and the welfare of its citizens. He pointed out that the opposition leaders are using such trivial strategies for their own self-interests because they are unable to accept the government’s people-friendly policies.

The Chief Minister remarked that Sukhbir Singh Badal, the head of the Shiromani Akali Dal, is once more attempting to deceive people through political means. “They have committed unforgivable sins against Punjab and its people,” he remarked, making fun of the Badal family. The public is aware of how these officials have destroyed the state, he said, so making speeches does not relieve them of their wrongdoing.

The Chief Minister reaffirmed that Sukhbir boasts about the progress made under his administration but never discusses the drug problem that killed many young people or the Bargari firing episode, in which innocent people were shot. He claimed that these problems are proof of the Akalis’ poor leadership and that the Badal family ignored the welfare of Punjab’s people in favor of growing their companies. He claimed that the state’s harshest years, from 2007 to 2017, were dominated by mafias in the transportation, cable, sand, drug, and other industries.

The Chief Minister said that Raja Warring, the president of the Congress state, has shown the Congress’s narrow-mindedness and is now pleading for mercy. He continued by saying that it is documented that political favoritism caused the drug problem to escalate to dangerous proportions under Akali’s tenure. He claimed that the state government will not be forgiving of the “generals” who use narcotics to ruin young people.

According to the Chief Minister, these leaders not only supported the drug trade but also allegedly sold or distributed drugs using government cars. Traditional political parties, he said, are envious of him because they find it hard to believe that a man from a common family can effectively govern the state. He claimed that because of established parties’ anti-Punjab and anti-people policies, the public no longer has faith in them.

“The people will never forgive those parties that destroyed Punjab or supported the attack on Sri Harmandir Sahib with tanks and artillery,” the chief minister declared.
He claimed that the people have showed these old parties the way out since they have brutally plucked the state and its residents. He went on to say that the electorate had rejected renowned figures like former Chief Ministers Parkash Singh Badal and Charanjit Singh Channi, as well as Akali leaders Bikram Majithia and Sukhbir Singh Badal.

According to the Chief Minister, these leaders are currently battling for relevance and scurrying for political survival.
Regarding government hiring, the chief minister stated that the entire procedure was carried out in a transparent manner and that the Punjab administration is proud that none of the 58,962 government jobs have been contested in court. Merit-based hiring, he claimed, had restored young people’s trust in the government and encouraged many to train for state positions rather than looking for work outside.

The chief minister emphasized that there is now significant economic relief as 90% of Punjabi households receive no electricity bills. He said that long-standing problems had been resolved and that farmers now had a steady supply of electricity for paddy planting. The government has protected the interests of all societal segments, allowing Punjab to continue moving forward, Bhagwant Singh Mann continued.

In order to guarantee high-quality education, the Chief Minister stated that government schools are being transformed into “Schools of Eminence.” He went on to say that it is a source of pleasure that Punjab has overtaken Kerala to take the top spot in the Government of India’s National Achievement Survey. Students from 848 government schools passed the NEET exam, 265 passed the Main JEE, and 45 qualified for the Advanced JEE, according to Bhagwant Singh Mann.

The chief minister underlined that education is the key to raising living standards and ending the cycle of poverty, and that subsidies and free facilities alone cannot remove poverty and social problems.
He claimed that since its founding, the Road Safety Force has saved hundreds of lives. According to data collected while he was a member of parliament, more than 5,000 people died in traffic accidents in Punjab each year. Road fatalities have decreased by 48% since the SSF was established, serving as a model for other states.

According to the Chief Minister, the force has 144 contemporary vehicles and is made up of trained individuals, including women. He claimed that this force is doing a good job and has received recognition from the Central Government as well as a number of other states.
